IT Research

The BATF IT Research program allows college and high school students from educational institutions across the United States to present advanced computing and technical topics. Students demonstrate research knowledge to an audience of corporate representatives, IT professionals and fellow students. The program is open to students 9th Grade through 16th Grade. Yes, college students are encouraged to participate. Students will have an opportunity to compete for scholarship dollars at the National level. These are potential benefits that students can expect from participation: -Improve performance on Advanced Placement (AP) CS test (HS students) -Improved research skills -Improved oral presentation skills -Access to corporate decision-makers and internship opportunities -Access to the Career Fair -Increased the opportunities to win local and national scholarships -Increased interest and commitment to a career in information technology
